Alta Plastics introduced the “Rebirth Station”, a collaborative recycling initiative with Aquafina designed to engage the community in plastic bottle and aluminum can recycling. The Rebirth Station leverages advanced technology to automatically recognize, sort, and collect used materials. Every time a participant deposits an empty bottle or can, the system awards points, redeemable for exclusive prizes.

At HUTECH IT Open Day 2025, the Rebirth Station attracted significant interest from over 5,000 students, allowing them to experience the recycling workflow firsthand. The initiative exemplifies how green technology integrates into daily life, opening doors to sustainable, innovative solutions that tackle plastic waste while promoting environmental stewardship.

In addition to the Rebirth Station, Alta Plastics showcased its 3D printing technology, which transforms recycled plastic into new items. Bottles collected at Rebirth Station were processed into specialized 3D-printing material. Through live demonstrations, students witnessed recycled plastic being converted into practical products—from decorative pieces and office supplies to everyday utility items.

The 3D printer on display showcased not only creative recycling methods but also offered students valuable insight into how this technology applies across industries. The produced 3D-printed items are sustainable, engineered for long-term use, and contribute to reducing plastic pollution.

Beyond the 3D printer, the actual 3D-printed items on display demonstrated real-world applications of this technology. Produced from recycled plastic, these items combine functionality, durability, and sustainability, enhancing living spaces while protecting the environment.
