ALTA PLASTICS CONTINUES ITS GREEN JOURNEY AT THE EXHIBITION EVENT CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF PRO VIETNAM

On October 14, at Thiskyhall Sala Convention Center, the Packaging Recycling Organization Vietnam (PRO Vietnam) officially celebrated its 5th anniversary—a significant milestone in the journey of building and developing a circular economy model. As a participant in the event, Alta Plastics proudly presented its plastic bottle recycling circular model at Exhibition Booth No. 6 in the “Recycling” area. Through this showcase, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and our continuous efforts in promoting environmental responsibility.

The Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance – PRO Vietnam (a 100% non-profit social enterprise) is the first organization officially recognized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment as an authorized entity for packaging recycling in Vietnam. During the event, PRO Vietnam strongly reaffirmed its commitment to collection and recycling, with data as of September 2024 showing that approximately 64,000 tons of various types of packaging had been collected. The exhibition not only brought together 30 businesses within the recycling alliance but also attracted many other enterprises, both large and small, all sharing the common goal of environmental protection.

Mr. Phạm Phú Ngọc Trai delivered the opening speech at the event.

Alta Plastics is one of the pioneering companies in producing environmentally friendly plastic packaging. However, it does not stop there—Alta Plastics continues to collaborate with PRO Vietnam to provide the most effective recycling solutions using advanced technology. At the exhibition, Alta Plastics introduced businesses to the GREEnfinity project—a project aimed at promoting recycling, transforming plastic waste into valuable resources, and building a sustainable future.

The Recycle Depot system—an advanced technology applied by Alta Plastics in the initial collection phase of the project—not only optimizes the collection and recycling process but also serves as proof of the effectiveness of the circular recycling model that Alta Plastics is committed to. Thanks to its modern automation system, the machine can quickly and efficiently process various types of plastic, making it easier to transform plastic waste into new raw materials.

The Recycle Depot system attracted significant attention from businesses.

One of the key highlights of Alta Plastics at the event was the introduction and application of the Closed-loop Recycling model in 3D-printed products. This comprehensive recycling process ensures that products made from recycled plastic are collected, processed into new raw materials, and continuously used to manufacture similar products—without compromising the quality or value of the material. Alta Plastics delivered a powerful message about the value of recycling through 3D-printed products made from recycled plastic bottles. This approach not only creates aesthetically appealing products but also serves as tangible proof of how technology can reshape perspectives on waste and sustainability.

At this exhibition, PRO Vietnam also introduced businesses to the Circular Economy Model—a sustainable and comprehensive solution designed to regenerate the entire lifecycle of product packaging. This model embodies a closed-loop ecosystem, covering everything from designing and manufacturing packaging from recycled materials to collection, recycling, and future reuse solutions. It represents a significant step forward in helping both businesses and consumers gain a deeper understanding of the importance of recycled and reusable packaging in everyday life.

With a strong commitment to sustainability, Alta Plastics not only brings advanced recycling solutions but also drives the future development of recycling technology. The exhibition, celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam), is not just a platform for Alta Plastics to showcase its innovative capabilities but also an opportunity to foster collaboration with strategic partners both domestically and internationally—working together toward a global sustainability goal. Through this exhibition, Alta Plastics reaffirms its commitment to accompanying PRO Vietnam, delivering sustainable solutions, and paving the way for a greener future for Vietnam and the world.
