Alta Plastics proudly participated in the 2025 Green Environment Day under the theme “Green Transition – Green Future: Joining Forces to Beat Plastic Pollution”, hosted by Nguyen Tat Thanh University. This inspirational event also served as a platform for Alta Plastics to showcase practical green technology solutions supporting a closed-loop plastic recycling ecosystem.

GreeZ Station – An Automated Solution for the Recycling Future

A highlight of the event was GreeZ Station, a smart technology device developed under the GREEnfinity project. It attracted significant attention from students thanks to its ability to automatically detect, sort, and collect empty plastic bottles and aluminum cans. By simplifying the recycling process at its source, GreeZ Station boosts the effectiveness of waste management.

Beyond just collection, GreeZ Station features a point-earning system that lets users redeem rewards, creating real incentives for sustainable recycling habits. It is more than a smart device—it is a behavioral catalyst for green consumerism. GreeZ Station has already been effectively implemented in schools, shopping centers, and residential communities, gradually building a circular recycling ecosystem where every small action contributes to meaningful environmental impact.

3D Printing – Bridging Technology and Environmental Responsibility

At Alta Plastics’ booth, the 3D printer demo area became a magnet for students passionate about technology and creativity. More than just a modern tool, it represented the synergy between technological advancement and environmental responsibility.

Visitors observed the transformation of recycled PET filament—produced from used plastic bottles—into practical items like stationery, keychains, decorations, and everyday utilities. This hands-on printing process delivered a visually engaging experience while deepening students’ understanding of how technology can regenerate materials and generate new value from waste.

Integrating 3D printing into the GREEnfinity project not only opens up new avenues for recycled material applications but also promotes environmental education within academic settings. It empowers students to engage with future-ready technologies and cultivates sustainable resource use.

The final link in Alta Plastics’ Closed-loop Recycling was a vibrant collection of 3D-printed products made from recycled plastic. From charming keychains to intricate art models, each item was crafted from used plastic bottles collected via GreeZ Station.

These products stand out for their ability to be re-recycled without losing material quality or utility. Thanks to advanced processing, the recycled plastic can be looped back into production—yielding durable, meaningful products.

These tangible results not only demonstrate the power of recycling but also offer powerful inspiration for a future where “waste is no longer waste,” but a valuable resource for creativity, education, and sustainable development.
